"Imperial" means older British measurement system, ie feet, inches and pounds. Metric refers to centimeters (cm) and kilograms.
It is strongly recommended that you stick with one system once chosen, as changing it can result in figures changing from something neat and simple such as "34.6" into something like "69.49453939" I have avoided that where possible but it can still occur in places. Note that skinfolds are always in millimeters and most food, even in the UK and America, is labelled in grams, ie "Metric". |
